we are leaving Seisia after spending five nights here. It is a really beautiful spot and we have fun here here.

Day 1. We visited the croc tent. This tent is literally that - a tent! It is set up every year and you can go there to buy souvenirs and it doubles as an information centre. The people there are really helpful and the kids bought a couple of little souvenirs and we picked up a map of the local area.

Day 2. We went to the tip. It is such a beautiful walk out to the sign that marks the northerly most point of the Australian continent. When we were standing taking photos a big turtle swam past! It was sooo special to see one in the ocean! There were a few people lining up to have their picture taken but we didn't have to wait for too long. While we were out there we followed a track along the coast. This was a nice drive, it went through 5 beaches before it met back up with the main road. We were surprised to see how much bush camping there was along this track.

Day 3. The

Sometimes in life you just have to suck it up and do the tough stuff! Lol
boys fished with Jack and Luke catching two good sized dart fish and we all just relaxed around the camp site. That night when we were fishing off the jetty we saw two big sharks about 4metres long - very scary!

Day 4 We went out to a look at the two WW2 plane wrecks. The boys did some more fishing and we treated ourselves to dinner at a restaurant.

So it has been a very relaxing time for five nights and we have really enjoyed it here. The daytime temps have been around the 30 degree mark down to about 23 at night - very pleasant. 😊

You wouldn't believe it - we saw the girl on her bike again and we only beat her to the tip by one day! Shows how slowly we have been travelling!

We are now heading down south to Vriliya Point for two or three nights. We will then begin our journey towards Karumba. We are taking a little track shown on the map and it will probably take us about 7 to 10 days to get there - who knows, we just make it up as we go! 😊
