Mups and Stumpy do TheCape 2012

We stayed 5 nights at Weipa. What a great place it is! The weather has been gorgeous, the locals friendly and the fishing fantastic. Gav, Dad, Luke and Jack have been fishing everyday from a jetty not far from where we are camping. Gav has caught a large tarpin (threw it back, they aren't good eating, too many bones), Luke two grat trevallies and Jack a large trevally. The boys have caught enough fish for dinner, so Saturday night we cooked up a big feed of crumbed fish and chips.

We took the kids for a tour of the Bauxite mine. The boys really loved seeing the big trucks, Luke is now determined to drive one!

Weipa was great, wish us luck as we set off up the telegraph track!..........
