Travelled north from Sydney to Yeppoon in Queensland. 28deg C but raining when we got there. Sarah took us from the airport to our resort hotel and later we went to their house for dinner. It was great to meet Grace and Bowie, the children of our niece Sarah and her husband Colin. Grace is such a chatterbox and very confident for a 5 year old.
Went the next day to Sarah and Colin's place for a BBQ. Well why wouldn't you. It is Australia after all. They have a lovely home and life style.
Day 3 in Queensland. Colin and I played golf at the resort whilst the women and kids played by the pool. Wild life everywhere on the golf course. Kangaroos, dingos, turkeys and other assorted bird life. We avoided looking for lost balls out of bounds as this was snake country. Sara and Colin joined us at the resort restaurant later that evening. Fabulous Japanese food even though we had recently come from Tokyo.

Let's face it - you didn't exactly have a surfeit of Japanese food in Tokyo!
