After a late night at the turtles we allowed ourselves a lie in and a leisurely breakfast. Our facilities were just about advanced enough to make pancakes, so it was Nutella pancakes for breakfast! The rest of the day was spent on the road, and we wanted to get close to Brisbane before dark. We stopped at a number of little beachfront towns on the way and decided to stay at Redcliffe - once the home of the Beegees! Given that we ended up staying so close to Brisbane we knew that this would be our last night in Queensland and tomorrow we would cross the border to New South Wales.

Bailey's bit:

After our mad dash to the turtles a few insects unfortunately met their fate on our windscreen, this meant we had to utilise one of the windscreen squeegees in the petrol station, sure it won't be the last time but all part of the road trip fun!

Daily mileage: 0 unfortunately our long journey tired me out so decided to miss a run in the evening and attempt a couple tomorrow.
