Well well well we are in beautiful noosa right now and just love it. The only down part is that hostels are very expensive so we went out apartment shopping. we found an apartment that we could rent by the week so we took it. Its nothing special though. (we only get 4 channels on our rustic TV) The sofas are nice and colourful which is a plus. The best part is we no longer have to wait 20 or more minutes for a pot to cook some macaroni.
Our Apartment is not very close to the main part of the town or the beach so we decided to rent a Tandem (2 person) bike for the week. they are extremely hard to ride we already hit a tree ( it was my fault) Only the person in the front can steer but the person in the back wants to steer so is constantly leaning and throwing the person in the front off. At least we dont have to make a 3 km trek to get ice cream anymore.
The other day we went to the Australian Zoo or the Steve Irwin Zoo what ever you prefer. we saw a tiger show a snake show a bird show and a croc show. The Zoo is very big with lots to see. we also got up close and person with heaps of kangaroos.
The beach here is gorgeous with nice fluffy sand. we plan to rent some surf boards this week.
So we'll be here for the next 2 weeks then probably make our way to brisbane to find a job for 2 weeks then head off to our resort!

Firefighter in Brisbane
Hi Emily and Cody; Thanks for e-mailing your pictures so we can all appreciate the fun and the scenery that you see as you travel. Sounds like the bike ride is fun but it can cause some stress seeing as everyone wants to drive. You might want to try to look up a firefighter in Brisbane by the name of Richard Gorey. He was a powerlifter and stayed at my house in Edmonton in 1994 when we had the World Fire Fighter Games here. Have fun and keep in touch..... Love Rick, Kathy and Anthony
