Sara sounds the alarm
The metal plate in Nick's head meant we had no choice but to visit Magnetic Island. We booked into Bungalow Bay (consisting of small wooden huts with beds in) for three nights with plans to explore. On our first day we walked to the second world war battlements that had been built to look out for the Japanese. It also went through Koala and Rock Wallaby habitats. We just saw one Rock Wallaby and some bats on the way up but on the return journey having convinced ourselves that the Koalas were out swimming with the 'Dolphins' we suddenly began to spot them in the trees. We also saw another Rock Wallaby (Though I'm pretty sure it was the same one from before).

Walk two was nearly our last. We decided to walk to a beach to snorkel, nobody told us we had to go over a mountain to get there. I suppose we shouldn't have waited until the Sun was at it's highest point in the sky and maybe we should have taken a whistle and some Kendal Mint Cake with us. crocodiles - Actually we think one brown spotted fish we saw was a baby shark).
