Woke up at Camilla Beach and went for a morning walk along the beach. Decided to leave early and headed towards Mackay. Spent a refreshing afternoon at the Blue Water Lagoon in Mackay. After lunch we headed off to Airlie Beach where Daniel and I spent part of our Honeymoon here. It is just as amazing as it was then, maybe a little more crowded now. The area seems to be very popular with backpakers. We had a beautiful Thai dinner with a view of the sunset by the bay. The girls had Cold Rock ice cream for dessert and then we headed off to our next campsite, Alligator Creek. Of course, there had to be drama before we got there. Daniel stopped for a coffee and heard Taylor hissing. He discovered one of the batteries had expanded like a balloon and was as hot as a beef vindaloo. He disconnected everything and removed the defective battery. Now we are down to one battery in Taylor but never fear, we have our remote start Genni as a back-up!

Hello again!!
Hi guys, I had a look at your adventures a while back but not sure if you got my comments - for some reason I can't go back to look!! Anyway looks like your still having a great time and I am as jealous as ever, especially as airline beach is one of my favorite spots in the world! I have spoken to lily and told her to have a look at your blog (can't access t work!), but she hasn't been to see her son to look on your computer, she was very happy to talk to you the other day and misses you! So glad your having fun and hope to catch up soon!! ps girls love the photos too!!!

I sure that Daniel will be glad that Bluey is still there !!!. We just had a swim in Daley waters (about 200km south of Katherine). We are staying at the campgrounds near the Daley Waters Pub (been here since 1930).
