Well this morning, while the plan was to have a nice sleep in before our mid afternoon flight, things didn't quite work out that way. No, Gai wasn't dreaming about a possum in the bedroom. So at 5.30am was busy trying to rescue the little culprit. Thank goodness for Andrews dirty footy socks, gave some good protection when finally collared. After getting back on the roof to possum-proof the chimney, was able to get back to the task at hand.

So the pessimist would cry why today of all days. But the optimist would count their lucky stars that it didn't happen the day after, with an empty house all day while Andrew's at work, for the possum's enjoyment.

Now we are away, next stop Germany
