The America Tour

I suppose that there are 2 ways to look at it:
1. We really dodged a bullet because if the Bangkok protest had happened after we arrived in the country then we would have been stuck in that airport with no water for the next month, and now we are going to Cancun (Mexico) instead
2. I don't get to go to thailand and ride a push bike around (the part that I was by far the most excited about)!

However it has worked out ok. Went to the travel agent this morning, sat there for half an hour and was ignored by the staff who were "working", then Lauren tried to cut in front of the guy who was waiting before us... lol. Anyway finally got to change our flight and are now flying direct to LA instead of staying in Thailand for a week, and it was $400 cheaper! *self-five*

So the plan is to hang out there and do some touristy stuff and then fly to the resort in Cancun where there are 18 bars or something incredible, and all food and drink is included in whatever we paid, including room service.... Good times 😊

So it has been a bit of a tricky couple of days umming and ahhing about whether or not to go to Thailand but in the end it all worked out alright in the end.

I'm going to spend the next couple of days brushing up on my Spanglesh! Will speak to you from LA.

Peace
