We left the Caravan Park at 10am, after breakfast and saw the Funeral Parlour, who were very helpful in giving us a plan of the cemetery and copied information from the Wagga Wagga & District Family History Society Inc. telling us to write a letter to them and see if they can find information for us, as to where Mary Jane O'Connor is buried.
We then visited the Salvation Army Op Shop, buying a couple of tops, becoming the thing we do in each place we visit. Went for a drive around Wagga Wagga, big place with some beautiful old buildings. Had lunch in the shopping centre and came back to the park.
Unfortunately everything worth seeing is closed on Monday's, Art Gallery with a collection of National Art Glass and the Museum of the Riverina.
It has been 27.9o but at the Caravan Park we had a lovely breeze from the river, so we Read,Rested and Recuperated.
Took a walk to the River which is lovely with all the different birds enjoying it, last night we heard a Bookbook calling, Mick calls them MoPoke, because that is what the call sounds like.
Off tomorrow heading for Bright, just hope the weather is
Canoeing on the Murrumbidgee
A popular past time, what a life!! not too cold. Ever since we left Ulladulla we have had the best weather, but have been watching the weather at home and you have had a lot of rain. Something to look forward too!!
