Snow day

We where up bright and early for a 6.30 breakfast. It was a tropical 6 degrees this morning. We were all organised with our day packs with spare clothes and set of for the three hour trip to Thredbo. We had a stop in Cooma and had a quick play on the park before getting our snow clothes in Jindabyne.

We were unsure of the weather in Thredbo but arrived with it a bit overcast. We then headed up the chairlift to find the snow. Here the kids played and slid in the snow for almost two hours before we ventured down the snow for lunch beside the creek.

Our trip home included a stop at the Jindabyne shops were we had a look around and bought some souvenirs.

Tonight we are going to Telstra Tower for a look at the Canberra night lights.
