Snow Adventure

Last weekend I went on a trip to "the snow" as they call it here not "the mountain" as we might say, this makes sense conidering I don't recal really seeing any mountains there :-) hehe. But non the less I had a blast! We left straight from work on Friday and didn't arrive until about 1 in the morning on Saturday, and had to wake up about 7 the next morning! There were actaully quite a few long runs though, I was quite impressed but the conditions were not the best. On saturday it was so windy it blue all fresh snow off, and there was a sheet of ice under, they actually closed some of the top runs. The next day it rained and there was a lot of slush at the bottom of the hill but the top had fresh snow and was nice. We left Sunday afternoon and didn't get home until about 12pm and we had to wake up to go to work the next morning. Needless to say I was absolutly recked! Should have taken the day off, but it was well worth it.
