Seafood Banquet at Bens

Surprisingly everyone felt reasonably normal given the prior nights escapades, so we jumped in the car Ben had driven to ours the day before, and headed out of town, testing our memory of journey back to Ben’s. After a quick stop to pick up some nibbles and cake in Miranda we arrived at Ben’s in Menai safe and sound.

Clearly Ben had been extremely busy whilst we were travelling over. He’d prepared a banquet of prawns, mussels, baby octopus, oysters, fish, chicken, Salad and couscous which we were all happy to tuck into.

Whilst the kids played in the pool and with the dogs, the adults chatted and relaxed whilst Mandy got busy with Will’s sister’s SLR, ensuring the day was captured on camera.

With a busy evening of packing ahead of all of us, Ben gave us a lift back to Sutherland station where we caught the train back to Town Hall Station.
