Alli, Nick and Chloe
At the wedding, overlooking Pittwater Hooray! We'd been counting down to coming home for Nick and Alli's wedding since we moved to Prague. And even though the big move was not as challenging as we thought it might be, we had still been hanging for it. Mainly to see family and friends, and the wedding, but also for some sun. Life had got very brrrr in Praha so we were thinking bring it on!
Steph went home 2 weeks before Anth (since there were no annual leave constraints) but Anth got the better trip home, getting to fly (business class) in the A380's second ever flight! Both times big groups of family met us at the airport - and it felt like we just picked up where we left off 8 months earlier. Probably not surprising given things like Skype and Facebook exist for free.
The main event was the wedding, and it was such a nice afternoon/evening held up at the Newport Mirage overlooking Pittwater. Steph was Alli's attendant with the honour of witnessing the registry and Anth was MC. Chloe (our 2 and a half year old niece) totally stole the show though, dancing like crazy literally the whole night on the
The Northern Beaches
There just aren't beaches like this in Europe :( dance floor! She's going to be trouble when she's 16!
But rush, rush, rush! So many things to do, people see, toiletries and vegemite to buy (!) in such a short time!
