Leaving On A Jet Plane

Monday
Today was a very long day, 44hrs in fact! We left our small motel and made our way to the airport, after three hrs and getting lost twice we finally made it to Sydney international airport were we waited and waited and waited for ages until we were finally able to board the plane.
Where we got to sit and wait and wait I tried to entertain my self by walking around and exploring the first class area were I was treated to front row seats to the in flight entertainment. Mum was asleep on my seat and i had nowhere to go, you understand : P
When we finally got to L.A. i had been awake for 36hrs not being able to sleep thanks to Mum taking up all the seats so you can probably imagine, I was pretty annoyed when Mum let me know she had not booked accommodation and had no idea how to navigate L.A. after a long walk and a couple of bus trips we ended up in beautiful Santa Monica where we found a nice hostel and crashed for the night.
