Little Bay made bigger
storm damage has significantly eroded this beach Day Eight - Arakoon
Still raining off and on but we managed to sneak out for coffee and supplies in the morning. I got a guided tour of the local attractions, dodging the rain, and managed a short walk to see the kangaroos that were lying in the ‘sun’ at the end of the road. Arakoon is a conservation area so there is a large area of bush with the houses scattered around the fringes. It’s really beautiful. Recently there was a storm that has had significant impact on the coastline. The beach that is 1 minute away from Julie’s house has been scoured away and now lies about 500 metres further out and 10 metres further down... it’s like a fleet of dozers have been in and just removed the beach!
