My article is about the child abuse scandal at Penn state. It's called, Governer: Change Law after Penn state scandal. Basically a now retired coach at Penn state had been sexually abusing kids over the course of 15 years and other staff knew. A child had told the head coach and the head coach had told his boss but nothing was done, no one told the police or government. The article says that was the problem, that he head coach did his job by telling his boss, but the school officials did not alert anyone. The article talks about how child abuse laws need to change and become stricter so that people who see child abuse report it directly to government officials and not their boss.
Quarter 1 results show areas in which we need to improve as a class but also how much we've already accomplished. I personally want to take up encore opportunities and study more better for tests.
