In class we have been learning about power and authority. With these two topics, basically, the women are treated in a lower class than men. This like discrimination and lettin the women know they aren't reall respected and they have no voice. This relates to what we are learning in class because it's relating to discrimination and how the daltits would be discriminated against just because of their nationality. As in response to the caste system, I think people Responded to the caste system by just dealing with it because if they were against it they would be punished too. The treatment of the daltits remind me of what happened with the whites and the blacks when the blacks would get hung, beaten, and any other brutal thing done to them just because they were black. What interest me about this article was the whole discrimination thing, it just reminded me so much of what happened with blacks and whites, and because I am black,
