The things I have loved about all my trips abroad: the street corner flower sellers, the fruit vendors, fishmongers, the mushroom lady, bread shops, the chicken pluckers, the sweet potato peddler, the open-door meat vans, the newspaper kiosks, the neighborhood bodegas, the chestnut roaster.
