Entering the Bighorn Mountains Today was yet another day of driving across Wyoming, but we've just about got the job done. We discovered during the night that our campground in Greybull was surprisingly close to a rail yard- a rail yard where they worked all night slamming rail cars together. It was a tough night for sleeping.
Leaving Greybull, you soon have to climb up and over the Bighorn Mountains, to an altitude of over 9000 feet. To reduce strain on the motorhome we left the car unattached until we got down the other side of the mountains.
From there on we were back to prairie driving through slightly hilly terrain. We saw pronghorns several times. We stopped for the night in Sundance, Wyoming, on the edge of the Black Hills and just 19 miles from the South Dakota border.

After dinner we drove down a couple back roads and saw a good three dozen deer including six bucks. I think they were all whitetail deer. We also saw a herd of maybe

Coming down the Bighorn Mountains two dozen pronghorns and at least a dozen turkeys.
We are close to Devil's Tower, but its a 28 mile drive each way and the vote was in favor of skipping it. We've had enough driving for today.
