Day 10 - Great Salt Lake, Utah

We had a beautiful drive from Flaming Gorge to the Great Salt Lake. It was only about 185 miles and we took state roads for a lot of the way.

We arrived at a campground by the lake around 11:30 and was told that we could not check in until 3:00. She suggested that we visit the bird reserve about 10 miles up the coast. We probably would not have stumbled upon that ourselves so we were glad that she suggested it.

We got back to the campground around 3:15, rode bikes for a while, and are ready for happy hour and grilling out.

We are on our way to Park City, Utah tomorrow. (Anne, thanks for the suggestion. It looks awesome.) Then, back to Salt Lake City by Saturday to explore the city and meet our kids at the airport.
