Shortly after we rented the house, Roger stated "wouldn't it be awesome if someone in Cuenca was leaving and going back to the states and wanted to sell their house full of goods". Well about a week later on Gringo Post there it was this ad selling everything as a unit:

• 4 piece living room furniture: sofa, love seat, chair and coffee table

• Solid wood, round, dining table with pedestal and 4 padded chairs
• Small Mabe refrigerator
• Electrolux microwave
• Sony Bravia 26 inch flat screen
• Solid wood TV stand with shelves and glass doors
• Mabe washer and dryer
• Queen size bed frame with 2 lighted night stands
• 1 queen size Chaide y Chaide mattress
• 1 queen size Chaide y Chaide mattress
• 1 queen size Chaide y Chaide mattress pad
• Small ironing board and steam iron
• Small space heater
• Hamilton Beach blender
• Toaster
• Crock Pot
• Coffee Maker
• 1 wall clock
• 1 table lamp
• 2 plastic chairs and small plastic table
• Freedom Guitar with case
• 16 piece dish set, still in the box
• Misc. dishes, cups, glasses, pans, silverware, utensils, paper cans toilet brush, cleaning supplies
• 1 heavy Ecuadorian queen size blanket, 2 lighter blankets
• Misc. tools, drill, shovel
• Several sets of homemade curtain

This was just perfect, exactly what we needed. We saw the ad on Friday, contacted the couple selling and we were the first to contact them, that was a shock that never happens to us. The couple told us on Monday evening that we had to have the arrangements made by Tuesday and have the items moved by Friday, if not there were 3 other couples interested in the items.

Now we had 24 hours to find someone, in a town that we only knew a hand full of people, that could move the items and store them for us until we get there. Someone that we could trust and keep the items safe. I sent out an email to everyone we know for help.

Ecuador Movers are the company that we are using to help us with getting our Visas and they were able to move and store the items in their warehouse for us. Catalina went over to the house where the items were on Wednesday to verified that everything was in order. On Friday the movers came and wrapped everything in plastic for protection and moved the items to storage. A big thank you to Ecuador Movers Catalina Bermudez and Maite Duran for their superior job and service.

We feel so very blessed that God help us find what we needed to get started in Cuenca and arranged everything perfectly.

Now when we arrive in Cuenca we will have what we need to get started in our new life in Ecuador.

We give God all the praise and glory for taking such good care of us.
