Bags are Packed

Our bags are packed and ready to go on our "bucket list" trip to South Africa. I have always wanted to travel to Africa to photograph the abundant wildlife that are only available to us via zoos. The opportunity arose to take a safari in South Africa and see the animals in the wild. So today we load the bags in the car and head to Charlotte International Airport to start what is essentially a 24 hour trip to Johannesburg.

Checking our bags and getting to our gate was fast and easy and soon we were on our first leg to Atlanta, Georgia where we will board our 15 hour flight to Johannesburg.

Both flights left close to on time so all is starting out well.
