The Ipod the new CD. Its light weight durable and doesnt take up much space at all. When the CD Player came out it was great because it was portable but you still had to carry all of your CD's with you. This way you can fit all of your cd collection on to one device. It has revolutionized the way we listen to music. The IPOD has turned the Apple corporation around and is the single thing that saved them.
