Fundraiser

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! 😊

I am currently in preparation for my fundraiser, which I am hosting this Sunday, and am very excited (and nervous) about it. I just picked up some beautiful pieces of art from Betsy Teutsch and Mordechai Rosenstein, and have gorgeous cards by Roz Epstein. I still need to go pick up pieces by Devorah Greenberg, Barbara Smolen, and my art school friends. I am so grateful for their generous donations, and the monetary donations of my dear friends and family thus far.

My plane leaves Philadelphia on June 29th, and I land in Tanzania on the 30th. I will be there for 50 days until I return on August 18th. I have yet to do my travel shopping, which will include a mosquito net, safari clothes and lots of bug spray. As part of my cultural investigation, I am reading “A Primate’s Memoir,” by Robert Sapolsky, which is hilarious and very well written. It’s a wonderful summer read!

Kendra’s prom is tonight so I must go be the stand-in parent for pictures. I can’t wait for Sunday!
