Bummer we're back home now. The circadas are strumming their "it's hot and steamy" song. I wrote a few more entries during our trip, but they're all on my iPad (hard to publish when you don't have time for slow/sketchy wifi). I'm a lucky soul who works hard 10 months of the year and travels during the summer. This year it's Ireland. Last year it was just Disneyland (money was a problem but I managed to win the Disney trip so yay us), and the year before Vancouver (May), New Orleans (6/17ish) and Ghana (June/July). Sometimes I even manage to sneak in a trip or two during the work year. Life is very good when that happens!... full info

absolutely loved this place!

when you see this

you get a little nervous --- especially since you're in the middle of the woods just walking along in search of a waterfall, but the sign warns you water can rise quickly.

and then you see this

the steps lead down to fast-moving water. This picture doesn't do these stairs justice. They were so rickety we decided not to take them. It'd be a long fall down.

and then there's this

ta da! one of many waterfalls we got to see.

or something like that. Very loud, angry water. I wouldn't mess with it.
