Reflections on the US after being back 4 days

To finish up the story of our flight from Madrid to Dallas to Portland. I should have known better than to book a flight through Dallas in tornado season, We were originally coming back from Madrid to Chicago, then on to PDX. Between November and March American Airlines made the the switch to Dallas. Of course Chicago could have had ever thunderstorms and tornados in the vicinity of Ohara too, but the way the weather had been treating Texas I should have expected the 6 hour rain delay. After 11 hours of being on the Madrid-Dallas flight, which as fairly comfortable on a 777-200, we made a big mistake by not being a Admiral Club membership and instead hung out on the concourse with the real travelers, all who we tight lipped Oregonians just wanting to get home,

At least the luggage arrived intact and we're about to Uber in . It was 3 AM and the Max stops running at 1 of I should have used it and walked the last 5 block s home.

We picked up Tappy at Sherri's the new morning, She was in he back yard and i watched from afar as she was sniffing the ended of the garden. I just tat on the deck risers to see if she'd recognize me. (it too a little while) but she knew it was me and ran over to me with her tail stumb wiggling 100 MPH. It was a good reunion.

Cusack has been sick with vomiting and Diarrhea one and off for tree days. He's rail thin. We both want to restart our 3 X a week exercise classes on Monday,

Before we went to sleep we talked about some of he places we really liked in Europe and I hope to have more of the conversions as we move through the summer.
