Day 3: Oklahoma City, OK

Traveling from Memphis, TN to Oklahoma City, OK. We go from Memphis to Arkansas. I didn't like the first 2 hours of Arkansas, it looked flat and uninteresting. Sort of anywhere, USA. Closer to Little Rock, Arkansas got beautiful. I think I like seeing mountains - it is so different from where we live. All of Oklahoma is beautiful to me. The day is overcast, looks like big thunderstorms may be moving in. It doesn't rain on us, but the sky makes everything look lush and green. We are relaxed, just enjoying the trip.

Are We There Yet?

I love to travel, although I do not get to wander about as much as I would like to. I fell in love with Costa Rica and would have happily lived there. It is the only place that made me cry to leave. Before the addition of two more Akitas to our household, we traveled across the U.S. with our two Akitas, Biscuit and Rowan. Now that Keiko and Rafu have joined the herd, I balk at moving 500 lbs. of dog around unless I need to. My family will tell you I am mostly sweet-natured with a large streak of dry humor.
