Back on the road again.

Hello everybody,

After more then a year we are back on the road again. This time we did fly in to New York's JFK.

With a smooth drive from the airport to Hillsborough NJ our vacation has started. Well of course it had started the moment we left home, but up to the moment of starting the rental car, there isn't much you can decide on your own.
The first couple of days we have been using to get adjusted to the time difference. After spending a night in Gettysburg PA we are now staying in Staunton VA.
So far there is not much to report. The chances for wildfire are still "modorate" and the terrorist threat is still "elevated". The dollar - euro exchange rate is doing great and the gas prices are also elevated compared to last year. So... so far so good...

For now i am going to catch up on some sleep.

hey vakantie gangers, fijn om te horen dat jullie goed zijn aangekomen. Zijn jullie wel een beetje voorzichtig met die nieuwe auto, hij moet rustig ingereden worden. Maar ik denk dat hij na de 5 weken gelijk verkocht kan worden. De kilometer teller geeft aan dat het tijd is om te verkopen, hahahaha. genieet van jullie vakantie en rij voorzichtig. veel groeten vanuit maastricht. oh ja vanavond moeten de haren gedaan worden, leuk....pffffff
