buh-bye nyc!!

just making sure i know how to blog before taking off on my excellent adventures down under. my backpack is all packed and i am good to go! here is my tentative itinerary:

dec 3: see ya lata, suckas!
dec 5: arrive in nadi, fiji
dec 5-8: mana island, one of over 300 that make up fiji
dec 8-10: ?? either hit another island or hang out on one of the main islands
dec 11: fly into auckland, new zealand
dec 12-16: surf camp in raglan on the north island
dec 17-24: rafting, caving, hot springing, and tramping (hiking) around the north island hopefully with a
fellow former gsc-er and world traveler
dec 24: meeting up with a friend of a friend in wellington who will be my travel buddy for the next week
dec 25: set sail on a ferry to the south island
dec 25-28: abel tasman national park for more tramping and sea kayaking
dec 28-29: farewell spit for even more fun in nature
dec 30-jan 1: new years in hippie town nelson
jan 1-3: wine touring in marlborough
jan 3-4: whale watching and hot springs around kaikora before dropping off travel buddy in christchurch
jan 4-16: continue on south, wherever my journey through middle earth takes me

that's all i've got so far. so stay toooooned...
