Driving Down the Rio Grande Gorge, Taos, New Mexico

I turned on New Mexico Hwy 567 and drove to Carson, NM. I think that town was named for Kit Carson. They have an active post office. I had to stop and check out this old antique car body. I don't know, but I think it is a model A Ford. With no stop signs it was quick to get on to BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land; and a very fun but careful drive down the dirt road into the Rio Grande Gorge. Af... Read Full Entry

I started writing on Trip Advisor (bad site) and changed to TravBuddy that was much better. It was bad luck when TB closed. I have fun on my YouTube channel. I was not a chemist, but a chemical hazard specialist, and a first responder. I retired from the State of Texas facility in Galveston to 100% disability in 2005. Then I moved back to my home area in East Texas. I live on the small Walters Tree Farm outside of Nacogdoches, Texas USA. I am retired to be a simple farmer and traveler.
