Day 24 – Wednesday – Santa Fe, New Mexico

Mmmmm what a wonderful nice relaxing day. Just what we needed to revive our spirits 😊

We had a niiiice loooong sleep in this morning, before having a brunch at this cool little place where you selected exactly what sort of sandwich you wanted made.

Must admit i've been feeling a little off color today - sore throat and blocked then runny nose (thanks John!) so the relaxing day was just what the doctor ordered.

We had a bit of a look around the local shops before heading back to watch the soccer (football!) as John's team Liverpool was playing in the final against AC Milan. Unfortunately they lost 2-1 and our Aussie Harry Kewell did very little. Ah well.

We then challenged J&J to a game of family feud on the laptop that we failed at miserably. Dinner was chinese (guess who's choice it was? Dean's of course!). As usual, we sat and recounted memories from our China trip!!!

Tomorrow we head towards the Grand Canyon! All in all we really loved Santa Fe - it has a really nice vibe to it.

Sounds like a relaxing day! I know when we travel on extended vacations we have found that every 7 days or so we need a chill day! Of course you are younger than me so you can probably last longer than that! LOL!
