I am amazed how history hides its head. I always new of the genocide amongst so many Jewish people, and their story of loss and the pain they endured. But recently, I have come to understand that many other cultures endured similar genocides. The strife of the Slaves, the crimes against the Indian people “ The Trail of Tears” to the Japanese rape of Nanking. So many lives murdered by people trying to justify their actions. Only thru understanding history, their voices can be heard and their story told.
