Last Day in Vegas

Today our families separated as some wanted to shop some more. G and I headed to Paris to visit the "Eiffel Tower" and sampled their promotional Eiffel Tower cocktail. We too headed for the premium outlets again, but fortunately for only a short time this time, thank goodness.

After we returned to the Strip we spent some time walking around the Venetian before having a panini at a Trattoria overlooking the “Grand Canal”.

I found Vegas sort of cute, but very cheesy and trashy. I do now understand the comment I once heard while at the real Eiffel Tower in Paris from an American – his comment was “there are many more restaurants around our Eiffel Tower”.

Our final day finished with more cocktails at the Prestige Lounge and a wonderful Italian dinner at Lavo in the Palazzo.

I am glad I have seen Las Vegas, I will be even more glad to never see it again!
