So today has been loads of fun I really love Vegas. We decided to split up today which was great for a bit of space. Kerry went off on her travels and met back up with us for lunch about
1pm in Caesars Palace. Steph and I spent some time in the room sorting out our bags first thing after a lie in to figure out how much weight we had left in our bags for shopping today. We need up leaving the hotel room about 10.30 and saw Kerry downstairs am hour and half after she left us earlier.
We headed out through the Bellagio hotel where we are staying and it took about five mins at least to get out of the hotel. I started filming on my video camera going through the display they had done for spring complete with indoor greenhouse with indoor butterflies free within it. We then walked out the hotel along the path by the lake with the famous fountains and along the front. That took at least ten mins and then I realised I hadn't pressed the record button! Oops! So then I started recording for real as we walked along past
Caesars Palace past The Mirage across the road and down to the Venetian where we were heading to try and get a coffee at St Marks Square. We didn't know exactly where it was but stumbled across the Cake Boss Buddy V's bakery which I wanted to go to. I know it hadn't been open long from their Facebook page and I'm a fan of the show. We had to take a ticket then wait in line to order. Whilst waiting we eyed up lots of the cakes on display and decided on two brownies and a cake crumb to share and then they brought the canoli's (sp?) out so we ordered two of those two. We ate them outside and they were lovely, not too sweet.
We then wandered on to St Marks square and found that there was no coffee shop so decided to go to The Mirage and found a Starbucks then it was almost time to meet Kerry. But first I took a little gamble at a Roulette machine with $20 and ended up with $25 so I cashed out. We then headed to meet Kerry in Caesers. We all had lunch at Trivolis and
steph and myself had a cocktail each while Kerry had a beer. Then at the end Kerry realised she'd left her bank card in a cash machine an hour earlier and dashed off to find it. Luckily someone had handed it in to security. Kerry then went off shopping while steph and me decided to take advantage of happy hour at the bar, cocktails were $6 each so we had two each then headed back out did and bit of shopping and went to the pool at our hotel for a couple of hours chilling at the pool. We then ordered another cocktail each and once finished went up to the room to have luxurious baths and some chill out time.
Kerry then joined us and then we went out to dinner where we ended up at St Marks Square again for dinner. Dinner wasn't brilliant there and stephs pizza which was a meat free Monday pizza had tons of balsamic onions on it. We then split off again and Kerry went to sephora and me and steph went back to Carlos bakery then heading to The Mirage to have a bit of a gamble. We ended up
back on the roulette machine where steph started with $20 and tried to cash out with $19 but her machine was broke so she had to wait for an attendant while I carried on again starting with $20. I went as high as $30 and as low as $6 then. When I had $17 left I decided to have a last bet and put $6 on black and a dollar on my age black 33 so that i'd end up with an even $10 afterwards. Lo and behold up came black 33, I cashed out with $72! We managed to get an attendant to get steph her money then went back to the Bellagio to meet up with Kerry but when we got there she was already tucked up in bed. So we hit the sack too about
10pm tired from the long day before.
