This was a 2 day journey from Sacramento with an overnight on the way in Bakersfield. We spent 2 nights here right off the strip. Photos are of LV and Red Rock Canyon. We had never spent any time in LV before and wanted to see it, if only for this time. We were not interested in any of the gaming activities, but we were wanting to see what the allure LV has on so many people. We saw and learned much while not winning or losing a penny. It was interesting to see, but there are many other places in the world we plan to see before we visit here again. Red Rock Canyon is close by and is wonderful. It would be interesting to explore it and other nearby natural areas in more detail.
