As we headed west we crossed in to Nevada and stumbled upon Great Basin NP. It was a nice little park tucked near the eastern border. They had listed a mountain at 13k feet and we were going to summit the peak but they closed the access road due to snow just a few days before we got there. So instead we took in a cave tour and it was really fascinating!!!
