Philipsburg, Montana

This was part of our stay in Philipsburg, Mt. Went up to the Gem mine bought two buckets of gravel. McKenna got the knack for shifting early. She also was able to spot the sapphires very well. Had a blast in the Montana sun. Stayed the night at the 7 Gables inn at Georgetown lake. Had a wonderful chicken dinner with Gaylene and Mark. Let the girls sleep in late. Went into Philipsburg did some shopping visit with Gaylene. Then headed up the mountain to a ghost town at Granit. most of the old cabins were gone but got to see some wonderful history. Visited the cemetery in Philipsburg, did some more shopping , ate at the BBQ place, Up In Smoke, good fall off the bone ribs. had to buy some sweets and chocolates before heading out of town.
