We had an easy 4 hour drive from St. Charles to Blue Springs, Missouri (20 miles east of Kansas City). We made a stop in Columbia to visit University of Missouri. UM was the first vet school to request an interview with Sarah. (She went ahead and declined the interview after Michigan State accepted her.) It was a nice campus but I think Cornell is much more impressive....except for maybe football.

There is not much in Blue Springs, but we are staying at a campground that is close to a lake. We spent the day biking and chilling. We cooked dinner around the campfire, and finished cooking just before the rain started. This is actually the first rain we have had during the day, and that was just while we were eating dinner.

We have driven 1,100 miles since we started....about 1/3 of the way across the US. On to Lincoln, Nebraska tomorrow to see what all the Cornhusker fans are so proud of!
