Day 31

Today we got an early start 6:25 am, from College Station, TX. Well we thought we got an early start, had to stop for gas, followed the GPS!!!!!!!, got gas and GPS took us around in a big circle, passing the same gas station then finally got on the road out of College Station by this time it's 7:00 am. and still zero miles, still had 334 miles to travel. We're finally out of Texas, passed through Louisiana and are just inside the border of Mississippi , in Natchez. It was 102 degrees when we got here at 4 pm, had some rain and it dropped to 75 degrees. We had supper at " The Cock of the Walk", once a train depot. It was very good. This place was recommended by our friend Roy Stone from WV. We try to get a picture entering each State, Louisana ran out of cash, thus NO STATE SIGN, we took a picture of the bridge entering LA. Experienced our first negative response on our trip. While we were driving in Texas 40-45 mph, 5 miles west of Woodville,TX., a car came behind us

Leaving TX. crossing bridge into Louisiana. Could not find a State sign entering LA.
started to pass blowing his horn while passing and cut us a bit short. About 5 miles later this same car passed us again, cut us short again then slowed to about 20 mph in front of us. I had to slow down to his speed, then I just pulled over to shoulder and stopped, he kept going, road rage was over. This was new to us as we've had nothing but thumbs up, people pulling along side to take pictures and people asking questions every time we stop somewhere.

Small minds
The person that had road rage has a small mind and many problems in his life. He needs to find the Lord for peace in his heart. You did the right thing for protection from the Lord. The Lord's hand is always protecting you, all the time because of your walk with Him. God Bless and take care.

Cock of the Walk
I hope you enjoyed your meal. We have eaten there twice and was very good. We enjoyed the deep-fried Dill Pickles for our first time.
