Overboard Pub at our Marina
They have some large trees here. We continue to make headway in our boat projects in spite of the high temperature and humidity. We recorded 100 degrees in the boat and it was even hotter in the engine room and on the roof where the poor Captain spent his week-end.
We did take a much needed break to go to an antique boat and car show in the neighbouring town of Bayport. Lots of beautiful Chris Crafts. Luckily it was a small show because it was even too hot for this activity.
The weather has finally cooled after a torrential downpour and thunder storm last night. I love a good storm when I am safely docked or anchored. this is the first boat we ever own that has no leaks, what a bonus.
We still anticipate being in port for at least a week. Enjoying the friendly folks and the facilities.
