Happy Thursday!Long time no write on here....When I began this blog I thought it was originally going to be for my trip to Australia and leave it at that. Soon after that trip I knew I wanted to travel more and share my stories. With that said I used this blog for my trip to Israel in October 2013. I have now decided to use this blog for more than just my travels abroad, but rather share my insights, teaching experiences, any thoughts I want to share, and of course to spread peace and love to all of you! If you need some uplifting reading in your day, come read my blog and I hope you can end with a smile on your face.
Many people ask me how I afford all of the traveling I do. Besides the fact that I live with my wonderful supportive loving parents, I travel on a "budget." When I travel, I use the "backpackers" style of backing. I find cheap accommodations along with cheap meals. There are many ways to eat cheap, but still enjoy the local food. I personally like going into the local grocery stores and checking out the local groceries (fruits,

Mike's Pastry....This is in the Little Italy town and I highly reccomned going here. We saw load s of people walking around with these boxes and had to try them out. They are known for their canolis. veggies, etc.) Some local small grocery stores have delis in them as well--I would recommend trying some local deli sandwiches 😊
You may be asking me how I make money in between all of my traveling? Teaching of course 😊 I work at a child development center as the float teacher between all 4 rooms (infant, toddler, intermediate, and preschool room.) I enjoy this position because it allows me to be in all of the classrooms, getting to know and build relationships with all of the kids & parents. It's also nice to switch between the classrooms because as teachers, we know how overwhelming and stressful it can be in one classroom all day long. This gives me a taste of all the stress in the rooms 😉
Travel Talk.....My most current travel has taken me on a long 4 day weekend trip to Boston with my good friend April. We didn't spend any time resting...we were on the go the whole weekend. Boston has so much to offer and it's important to make some plans prior to your visit. We easily learned how to use the subway system (they call it The T.) and navigate our way around
the city.
Must do's while in Boston
-Freedom trail walk (Funny story...while we were in downtown Boston we stopped to ask a tour guide where the Freedom Trail was. He replied..."you are standing on it..." Turns out the Freedom Trail goes right through the city. Little did we know.... This is why you should do your research before hand 😉
-Quincy Market...great food options and people watching to be done here!
-Go to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Lucky for us when we were there the Twins were playing the Red Sox so we went out in our Twins gear! It wasn't enough because the Twins still lost!
-Go walk down Newbury Street. This is where all the fancy shops are...but even if you are not super into high end fashion, it's still a big tourist sight. And check out my favorite thrift store...Second Time Around. There is 3 just on Newbury Street!
-Go on the Harpoon Brewery tour. This was my first Brewery tour and I was impressed...it got me hooked on beer actually. Prior to this tour, I thought I was not a beer person...turns out I enjoy beer as long as it's not a dark

Harpoon Brewery Tour beer. My favorite was the UFO grapefruit.
-Walk around Little Italy!
I leave you all with some photos of my recent Boston adventure, and wish you a very happy and safe 4th of July weekend. May you all have a glorious time with family and friends.Until next blog, Peace and love!
