Holiday Rv Park 2
Here is the front of the park. It is am Airstream membership park. There are more Airstreams here than I have ever seen in my life. Beautiful park in the front. Well we were blessed with another great day. We went to downtown Traverse City because we wanted to see the sights down there and also check out a little place called House of Doggs. They serve all kinds of hotdogs and it sounds kind of funky and fun. Downtown Traverse City is very old and has a lot of shops and restaurants. They do a really good job restoring all of these towns and making them friendly and fun to hang out in. The House of Doggs was really good if you like hot dogs. They had many different combinations already made up or you could make your own. I had an R&B dog (mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut, pickles, & chili) and Don had Country dog (chili, mustard, ketchup, onions, pickles). They both were very good. Too bad it wasn't a DDD place. The people there told us that we should go to Moomer's Ice Cream shop since they were featured on Good Morning America as the Best Ice Cream in America. How could we argue with that. So we journeyed out into the countryside to find Moomer's. It was good but I thought that Tillamook's in Oregon was just as good

You can see Silver Lake from this site. These are the kind of pictures they show you on the website. if not better. We then went to the grocery store and headed back to the RV to hang out since we will be traveling tomorrow. Tough day, I think we have to go about 235 miles!
The pictures that I am including in this blog are of our campground. First off I want to explain to those of you who don't travel how we find a place to stay. There is a book called Trailer Life Directory and it rates campgrounds 1-10 in different categories 10 being the highest. We usually don't stay in anything less than a 7. I also will check the internet if possible for pictures because I like to see the place. Well, I had checked the website of the place here in Traverse City and it looked like a really nice place to stay. It is on Silver Lake about 10 minutes outside of downtown Traverse City. This is fine because we don't like to stay right in town. That said, the people here have been really nice and we have had great weather. I will let the pictures speak for themselves and get ready to have a good laugh. By the way, it
