Today we were in Boston, Massachusetts. I have been here before and he has not. It is a town enveloped in history. He considers it the birthplace of Boston Cream Pie. Okay, maybe it’s that too?

Let’s back up… last night we went to one of the outdoor pool decks to see a movie – Yesterday. Kamie got us warmed blankets and we bundled-up. It really wasn’t that cool – in the high 50s. It was such a sweet movie.. the music, the storyline, and the comedy.

The ship docked in Boston just after 5am this morning while it was still dark outside. Our TV said 52 degrees with 94% humidity. It was so foggy we could barely see the lights of Boston directly in front of us. We took an Uber to the Quincy Hall Marketplace. We had only been in Boston an hour or so until we ran into a sign that said “Pet Parade – Halloween Contest Today!” Are you kidding me?! YES! We were able to see lots n lots of dogs in costumes ~ many with their owners in matching or related costumes. It was so cute! There were almost 100 pets – including 3 cats and a guinea pig.

We found the Cheers bar and had a drink. It was packed but all the bar patrons were extra friendly. We walked in and out of stores and up and down the inside and the outside of this area. We finally took an Uber back to the ship. We went to the upper deck and chatted in the warm sun for about an hour and then I found a nice lounger in the sun and fell in and out of sleep while watching the planes land at Boston Logan Airport. We decided to go try out the Bumper Cars before dinner. It was so much fun! The first time around, Kamie was still smoking so I was there by myself and some British guy kept trying to slam into me. He was really nice but dang he was killing me. Kamie showed-up before the second round and the British guy had hung around so he ran cars with us again and Kamie & he duked it out this time. The second time was more fun for me because I just liked to drive my car around in

These gel-like things change shapes and colors continually
circles and not bump anybody. ? We had a formal dinner again tonight – same o’ same o’ – nothing spectacular - and then we came back to the room to see if the Nationals will win tonight or what?? Today was a good day.

PS – I’ve not been able to post blogs in a timely manner because this ship that advertises the fastest Internet at sea and a continuous Internet connection is false advertising. The guest wi-fi is constantly down.
