Twelve days and counting. We had probably our last meeting today. We leave on Friday August 26th. Cathy & Neil leave at 7 a.m. from Boston - Chicago - Anchorage and arrive in Fairbanks about 4:30 Alaska Time.
I got nervous about the flights and changed ours to Boston (leave 7:20 a.m.) to Seatle to Faribanks. We also arrive around 4:30 p.m.
Packing for 3 weeks is challanging, especially since the weather can be wet and temps range from 70 to 30. Rain gear and lots of layers is the recommended attire.
We are spending 17 days "on the road" in a rental vehicle then a 7 day cruise down to Vancouver and arrive home on September 19th.
Can't wait to get started.
