Rain, Rain Go Away

Believe it or not, we are trying to outrun an ice storm as we are leaving Shreveprt this morning. Had a fun But cold time in Shreveport yesterday at the Louisiana Boardwalk shoppes and restaurants. Caught the new Tom Cruise flick, Jack Reacher, to get warm. Had a great meal at the International Buffet at the Sam's Town Casino and Kenny even walked out $80 richer. We were planning on staying in St Francesville tonight but have decided to roll on to New Orleans where it looks to be much warmer and drier. Can't wait to see the Big Easy again. It's been 34 years since we were there during our Grad school days at LSU. Aaayeee!

South of Shreveport, we were far enough out of the ice storm that we stopped for a quick breakfast.

Ice or Floods
The further south we traveled, the more flooding we saw. All this was caused by the same storm as the ice in Shreveport!
