1. Colombus has been acontiversial subject for many years because of the cruel ways in which he treated Native Americans. Although, he did help initiate exploration, Columbus's ways are now thought as an outrage. Columbus enslaved many Native Americans, bruttaly killed them, and forcing them to convert to christianity. Today many people have tried to stop Columbus being part of school curriculm and other tactics to avoid holding Columbus as a hero.

2. I do think that Columbus should not be at the high place that he is now because even though he did discover America, he used very violent tactics to do so.

3. Columbus's contirversy connect to class because he was one of the first people to explore beyong his native land. He initiated exploration and brought wealth to Spain.
