Friends and family,

Rob and I want to include you as we begin our journey as husband and wife. Please join us in spirit as we celebrate our wedding and follow our adventure on this travel blog.

We've never tried blogging before, but the way we understand it, when we post an entry, you will be notified via e-mail. If you would prefer not to be on our subscribers' list, please let us know.

Our plan is to journal our wedding trip day-by-day and add photographs as we go. Each and every one of you is dear to us and this is the best way we can think of to share our experiences in almost real-time. We are excited to share our joy with you!!

You'll be glad to know that the blog thing works. Thank you for letting us participate vicariously in your great adventure. We'll miss being there with you, but this is the next best thing. We'll understand, of course, if you somehow get, uh, preoccupied and don't update this blog as frequently as you might have intended. How cool??
I never would have guessed Hawaii. That is so cool. I know Uncle Bob and his family went there often and loved it. We've never been - Amtrak doesn't seem to have it on any of its routes. Congratulations - I will look forward to your blog posts.
