My alarm beeped at 3am and I hit snooze and closed my eyes again. Another day starting before 4am. Surprisingly, Kamie didn’t protest about today’s six hour flight so I suppose he was only silently hating me now. This view

This is the open-air check-in lobby of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. This view and this water fountain was spectacular. Some things cannot be captured on camera by me.

We think it's the native Hawaiian language which we learned on this trip is taught to all kids in school along with English

He was anxious the entire flight so I played with his hair (he loves that) and his hair was smooth as butter by the time we landed.

Snacks

They no longer serve food on any flights (even 6 hours flights) but you can prepurchase small meals or you can purchase small meals on board. We prepurchased. I got a cheese and fruit tray. It was good.

All the bottles in LAX were in aluminum cans now - no more plastic to be found anywhere.

Flamingos

Flamingos are for Florida but this old man was talking to everyone in the airport and he was apparently a regular traveler to Hawaii.

Have you heard about the Alaska airline flight yet? It's all over the news. Super scary! Surely you can file a damage report online. Luggage AIN'T cheap! NEITHER OF YOU EAT SUSHI! WHAT A WASTE! YOU'RE KILLING ME RIGHT NOW!
