Well, bizarrely it is still Sunday the 8th, it has been now for nearly 45 hrs for us, courtesy of crossing the International Date Line on the flight during the night! Consequently we arrived in Honolulu this morning about 15 hrs before we left!!Good news is that I managed to safely get through US Immigration with all my Green Card visa details complete! It's official now, they have let me in!! We then got straight onto another plane and flew out to another island - Maui...
We spent the day by the pool, enjoying some much missed sun (forget Fiji!!) Temps in the early 90's (or 32/33 for you centigrade types) and unbroken sunshine... Hotel is really nice, we have a suite with a bedroom off a lounge plus a spa bath! We plan on spending tomorrow by the pool/on the beach and then maybe hiring a car for a couple of days before we fly back to Honolulu on Thursday.
We have just bought a phonecard, so 'family' expect some calls in the next few days and Clare, I will call you for some Maui tips tomorrow (Monday!) Happy Birthday Sheila! We will try and call you too!
Just had dinner and a few cocktails, so off for an early night after about 3 hrs sleep (on a plane) in the last 48 hrs! Still no opportunity to upload pics I'm afraid, so you might just have to wait for the interesting bits!

Hello!! It is 5:30 AM and I am off today, but of course was unable to sleep in!! Doesn't it always work out that way!!! :o) So glad you are in Maui!!! You will love it! Can't wait to get your call! I will have the phone with me all day!! If you want to swim with big sea turtles (FREE!!), see how far you are fom the Maui Prince Hotel. I'll give you further details on the phone.
